COLUMBIA, S.C. – William Bert Brannon, Michael W. Tighe, Richard C. Detwiler, and Demetri “Jim” Koutrakos have again achieved recognition in South Carolina Super Lawyers® for 2023.

All are members of Callison Tighe & Robinson law firm, and all have been honored multiple times in annual editions of the national directory of outstanding attorneys.

Mr. Brannon has been recognized for 14 consecutive years. Super Lawyers cites his primary practice area as Estate Planning & Probate law. He is a specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law as certified by the South Carolina Supreme Court. His practice also includes corporate law.

Mr. Tighe is a founding member of the firm. Super Lawyers has recognized him eight times before for his real estate practice. He is also a certified mediator and arbitrator and experienced litigator. He practices in both state and federal courts in South Carolina.

Mr. Detwiler is the managing member of the firm. Super Lawyers has recognized him for his general litigation practice. He represents clients in litigation involving commercial disputes, serious personal injury, workplace accidents, and probate and trust litigation. He, too, is a certified Circuit Court Mediator by the South Carolina Supreme Court.

Mr. Koutrakos, who has been recognized by Super Lawyers since 2016, is listed in business litigation. He litigates all types of commercial and real property disputes. Among other clients, he represents title insurance companies and their insureds in litigation. His practice also includes appellate work.
