About Super Lawyers
An annual guide to outstanding attorneys across the country, Super Lawyers rates attorneys across more than 70 practice areas.
The selection process begins with a peer nomination. Independent research then evaluates attorneys on 12 indicators. The factors include verdicts/settlements, honors and awards, experience and special certification. Client feedback also is included. Finally, the highest-ranked attorneys in each practice areas evaluate the nominees to determine who is included.
The goal is to create a directory that more than 13 million readers each year can turn to when they need legal representation. A companion piece, South Carolina Super Lawyers, goes to an estimated 100,000 people each year.
