SC publications honor Mike Tighe for his performance as real estate attorney
COLUMBIA, S.C. – SCBIZ News and SC Lawyers Weekly have honored Mike Tighe, a founding member of Callison Tighe & Robinson, as a leading real estate attorney in South Carolina.
As a member of the new “Power List – Real Estate Attorneys,” he will be featured in a special section in SCBIZ Magazine.
A co-founder of Callison Tighe & Robinson more than 50 years ago, Mr. Tighe has spent a career representing lenders and major developers in real estate-related litigation and in transactional matters. He is frequently called upon to testify as an expert witness in real estate cases and has presented numerous Continuing Legal Education seminars and Judicial Continuing Legal Education seminars on the topic of real estate.
For decades, he was involved in every major case involving real estate title litigation in South Carolina. He has long been at the forefront of developments in that practice area. He represented clients in countless appeals as well. At the same time, he managed a significant number of commercial deals and real estate closings.
He has been honored multiple times by Best Lawyers in America in the area of real estate law and has been named Lawyer of the Year by that same publication. South Carolina Super Lawyers and Legal Elite of the Midlands have also recognized him in multiple years.
