Lang helps present CLE program

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Louis H. Lang, a member of Callison Tighe & Robinson, recently was part of a continuing legal education panel at a mini-seminar organized by the Office of the Federal Public Defender, District of South Carolina.

The presentations concerned the Criminal Justice Act, a federal law that guarantees representation for indigent defendants accused of federal crimes. Lang joined other panelists to discuss joint defense agreements and the common interest privilege that allow attorneys to work collaboratively in criminal as well as civil cases while maintaining the attorney-client and work-product privileges of their clients.

Lang’s practice at Callison Tighe concentrates on litigation, principally in the area of insurance title claims as well as federal criminal defense.
