Cleveland merges practice with Callison Tighe

Columbia, South Carolina – Sherwood M. Cleveland, a veteran attorney with a wealth of experience in business and commercial finance, has merged his practice with Callison Tighe & Robinson, LLC, joining the firm as a member and the senior member of the firm’s newest practice group.

The new practice group offers clients full-service resources for banking and commercial finance, including conventional bank financing and SBA and USDA government-guaranteed lending, as well as complex financing for commercial lenders and real estate developers.

Cleveland joins Mike Tighe, Robbie Robinson and Drew English in this new Business and Commercial Finance Practice Group.

Cleveland is a graduate of Davidson College and the University of South Carolina School of Law. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 1993 and is co-author of the South Carolina Corporate Practice Manual published by the SC Bar. His experience includes commercial lending and special assets, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, and business and corporate practice.

Beginning in 2000, Cleveland’s firm Sherwood M. Cleveland, PC closed more than 1,000 SBA and SBA-related loans approximating $550,000,000 statewide.
