Callison Tighe recognized as a Tier 1 firm in national guide

COLUMBIA, SC – The newest edition of Best Law Firms in America is out, and it includes four Tier 1 rankings for Callison Tighe. It’s the tenth consecutive year the firm the national directory has honored the firm.

This year’s Tier 1 honors are in Litigation – Banking & Finance; Litigation – Insurance; Litigation – Real Estate; and Real Estate Law. Insurance litigation is new to this year’s list.

Callison Tighe also is highlighted in the national guide in five additional practices areas: Litigation – Trusts & Estates; Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights / Insolvency and Reorganization Law; Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs; Trusts & Estates Law; and Workers’ Compensation Law – Claimants. The honors in personal injury litigation and workers’ compensation are new this year.

Of the nine total awards, five are in litigation-related areas.

English, III, David L. Ewing, Demetri “Jim” Koutrakos, Louis H. Lang, Ralph C. Robinson, Mr. Tighe and D. Reece Williams III.

The attorneys earned a total of 25 honors across a diverse range of practice areas. Eight of the attorneys received awards in multiple practice areas. Mr. Koutrakos led the way with four.

Mr. Tighe earned Columbia Lawyer of the Year honors in Litigation – Real Estate. It’s the third time he’s won a Lawyer of the Year designation.

Inclusion in Best Lawyers comes after a stringent selection process that includes peer review from fellow attorneys in the same practice areas and cities.
