Callison Tighe named to Tier 1 for Columbia by Best Law Firms in six areas

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Callison Tighe & Robinson was again named to the top tier for the Columbia region in six practice areas.

For the past 14 years, the firm has been recognized as a Tier 1 firm, and it was named in the same areas last year. Firms must have at least one attorney recognized in Best Lawyers in America in the same year. And every attorney at Callison Tighe was honored by that publication back in August.

In addition, three members of the firm – Reece Williams, Louis Lang and Bert Brannon – were named by Best Lawyers to its Lawyers of the Year list for Columbia. They were honored for their practice in Litigation – Insurance, Litigation – Real Estate, and Trusts and Estates, respectively. Lawyer of the Year is a special designation awarded to individuals with the highest overall peer-feedback vote for a specific practice area and geographic region.

Here are the six practice areas in which the firm again made Tier 1 this time:

  • Commercial Litigation
  • Litigation – Banking & Finance
  • Litigation – Insurance
  • Litigation – Real Estate
  • Real Estate Law
  • Trusts & Estates Law

In addition, Callison Tighe was recognized by the guide for its practice in the following six areas: Corporate Law, Litigation – Trusts & Estates, Tax Law, Workers’ Compensation Law – Claimants, Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law, Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs.

Firms that have at least one lawyer who is currently recognized in the current edition of The Best Lawyers in America® in a practice area and metro jurisdiction ranked by Best Law Firms are eligible to receive a firm ranking in that practice area and jurisdiction.
