Columbia Business Monthly again includes Duggan in 2023 ‘Legal Elite’
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Ian Duggan, a member with Callison Tighe & Robinson law firm, has again been included in Columbia Business Monthly’s “Legal Elite of the Midlands” list.
This is his third year in a row to be honored for his practice in the area of business litigation. “Legal Elite” honors Midlands lawyers considered by peers to be outstanding in their respective practice areas.
The publication’s selection process begins with a nomination from a peer. A vote of all active attorneys in the Midlands results in a Top 10 list in each of 20 practice areas. The winners are highlighted in an edition of Columbia Business Monthly.
Mr. Duggan has a broad and diverse practice focused on complex litigation. He has represented clients ranging from seriously injured blue-collar workers to Fortune 500 companies and elected officials. A former active-duty prosecutor with the U.S. Air Force, Ian also counsels businesses, organizations, and individuals when they are at their most vulnerable – when they are dealing with the government. One of the professional accomplishments of which Ian is most proud is the “Not Guilty” verdict in his first case as a civilian criminal defense lawyer, defending a doctor in federal court who was wrongly accused of participating in health care fraud. Today, Ian continues his service in uniform as an officer in the S.C. Air National Guard.
Ian has also received Martindale-Hubbell’s highest Peer Review Rating of AV Preeminent, which attests to professional excellence, legal skill and ethical standing in the practice of law.
