Harry Dixon named to “Legal Elite of the Midlands” for 2025

Callison Tighe attorney Harry Dixon is being recognized in the 2025 edition of “Legal Elite of the Midlands” for his work in civil litigation.
Mr. Dixon, whose practice includes civil litigation at all levels of state and federal courts in South Carolina, is a first-time honoree in the annual special edition that profiles the region’s outstanding attorneys.
A skilled trial lawyer who’s prevailed in jury and non-jury trials, Mr. Dixon has also obtained favorable settlements and dismissals before trial and defended significant trial court victories in South Carolina’s appellate courts. These successes have come in a variety of disputed matters, involving topics like title to real estate, easements, commercial leases, insurance coverage, eminent domain, environmental law, and probate/trust law.
Licensed in South Carolina, Georgia and Virginia, Mr. Dixon’s varied practice includes general commercial litigation and real estate and title insurance litigation, among other matters.
Before joining Callison Tighe, Mr. Dixon clerked for federal judges on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law and Hampden-Sydney College.
