Callison Tighe receives three top-tier honors in “Best Law Firms”

Callison Tighe has received three Tier 1 awards in the just-released edition of Best Law Firms, marking the ninth straight year that firm has received top honors in the Columbia, SC rankings.

Tier 1 recognition came in the practice areas of banking and finance litigation; real estate litigation; and real estate law.

Callison Tighe also was honored in workers’ compensation law – claimants; personal injury litigation – plaintiffs; trusts and estates law; trusts and estates litigation; and bankruptcy and creditor debtor rights/insolvency and reorganization law.

Of the eight total awards, half came in litigation-related practice areas. “We have always taken pride in our skills in the courtroom,” firm co-founder Michael Tighe said. “It is gratifying that our peers and our clients have chosen to honor our litigation skills across such a variety of practice areas.”

The latest Best Law Firm honors continue a long history of recognition in real estate-related practice areas. Callison Tighe has placed in Tier 1 in a real estate category in most editions of Best Law Firms.

Overall, the firm has appeared in every edition of Best Law Firms since the annual guide’s inception. A joint publication of U.S. News &  World Report and Best Lawyers in America, Best Law Firms began in 2011.
