Callison Tighe welcomes Rodgers as an associate

COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA – An experienced attorney in real estate law, Celeste Rodgers has joined us as our newest associate at Callison Tighe & Robinson. She’s a welcome addition to a key practice area at our firm.

Rodgers practiced for almost five years in Columbia before coming to Callison Tighe. She’s experienced in a range of real estate matters, including closings, title insurance and contract negotiation. Her practice now also includes real estate litigation, real estate development and commercial transactions.

At Callison Tighe, she joins a real estate law team of attorneys prepared to help clients with a range of projects, large and small. They’re experienced transactional attorneys as well as skilled negotiators. They can help clients guide their projects from idea to completion, including financing.

A native of Columbia, Rodgers earned her Juris Doctor at the University of South Carolina School of Law at the same time she was completing her International Master of Business Administration at the university’s Darla Moore School of Business.

Studies abroad

Travel is one of passions, and she found several opportunities to see different parts of the world while working on her masters and law degree, studying abroad in London, Mexico and Chile. She traveled South America extensively on her way to Chile, staying in hostels in Argentina and Colombia while in route.

Rodgers also earned a bachelor’s degree in political science at the University of South Carolina.

In addition to travel – she’s visited 23 countries – her hobbies include scuba diving and restoring furniture she discovers at antique and consignment shops and on craigslist.

A member of the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division, Celeste has volunteered in the division’s Wills Clinics. Through that program, she donated time to draft advance directives and wills for first responders and Habitat for Humanity homeowners.
