George A. Taylor joins Callison Tighe & Robinson as an associate

George A. Taylor has joined Callison Tighe & Robinson as an associate.

Taylor earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from The Citadel in 2004, graduated magna cum laude. He then was commissioned into the U.S. Air Force, serving four years that included a tour in Iraq. He rose to the rank of captain and earned an Air Force Commendation Medal, an Army Commendation Medal and two Air Force Achievement Medals.

He earned a number of academic honors before graduating cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law this spring. These included the John Belton O’Neal Inn of Court and Order of the Wig and Robe. He also received three CALI Awards, honors that are bestowed annually in a number of areas to the highest scorer in each law school class. He spent his summers during law school as a legal clerk, for two different law firms and for the Richland County Public Defender’s office.

At Callison Tighe, his practice will concentrate on workers’ compensation and general litigation.
