Callison Tighe law clerk to become associate
COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA – Callison Tighe has hired Alden Terry to become an associate after she is admitted to the South Carolina Bar.
Terry is a 2016 cum laude graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law and has worked with Callison Tighe as a law clerk for the past year.
While in law school she earned a CALI award in Law, Society and Justice. This prestigious honor goes to the student with the highest grade in each class. She also was on the Dean’s List three times and served as a research editor for the Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal.
Terry earned her bachelor’s degree at USC as well, with a double major in political science and experimental psychology. She was on the Dean’s List during all semesters, graduating magna cum laude.
She is active in the community, accumulating more than 300 hours as an Americorps volunteer. In her free time, she enjoys attending Gamecocks football games, running on Columbia River Walk and spending time with family and friends.
She first came to Callison Tighe as a law clerk in March 2015 after spending the previous summer as a law clerk at a Spartanburg firm. Her duties have included drafting legal documents such as motions, pleadings and discovery requests and performing legal research. In addition to her current work at Callison Tighe, she is also studying for the South Carolina Bar exam. She plans to practice employment law and workers’ compensation law.
