Stanley now licensed in North Carolina, too
COLUMBIA, SC – Taylor Stanley, an associate with Callison Tighe & Robinson, LLC, is now licensed to practice law in North Carolina as well.
Stanley, who was sworn in to the South Carolina Bar in November, was admitted to the North Carolina Bar this month after passing that state’s exam.
He joins four other attorneys at Callison Tighe who hold licenses in locations in addition to South Carolina:
- Managing member Michael Tighe, U.S. Tax and Claims Courts;
- Member Louis Lang, the District of Columbia;
- Of counsel David Ewing, Florida and U.S. Tax Court.
These additional licenses allow Callison Tighe to serve clients’ interests in neighboring states and well as before special courts.
Stanley is part of the newly formed Banking and Commercial Finance Practice Group at Callison Tighe. These attorneys focus on helping business, both established and startups, with their financing needs. Options include conventional financing, government-backed loans, asset-based lending, construction financing, and commercial mortgage loans intended for securitization
Stanley focuses his practice on commercial transactions, representing lenders and borrowers
He became an associate at the firm in November 2013, after working at Callison Tighe as a law clerk beginning in May 2012 and continuing through his final year in law school.
Stanley holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from North Carolina State University, graduating summa cum laude with a minor in economics and concentrations in operations/supply chain and finance. He also graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
His undergraduate studies in business help him anticipate his client’s needs and steer them toward solutions that address their concerns.
Stanley grew up in North and South Carolina, with deep family roots in the Midlands. Columbia’s Hyatt Park is named in honor of his great-great-great grandfather, while his mother’s family donated land for Columbia College.
